Sideritis

It serves as the primary ingredient in Tuvunu. We cultivate three types of Sideritis in several mountainous areas of Northern and Central Greece:

Sideritis Raeseri, Sideritis Scardica, and Sideritis Perfoliata subspecies Athoa.

It is handpicked by the collaborating cultivators.

The Variety

Sideritis, also known as Mountain Tea, is a valuable herb that grows wild in the mountainous regions of Greece and is found in 17 different species, depending on the geomorphology of the area. It belongs to the Lamiaceae (mint) family. It is a perennial shrub that thrives in areas with high altitudes (above 400 meters).

Valuable Ingredients

Tuvunu is tea, not a tea-flavored beverage, as it is produced through extraction, that is, the well-known boiling process.

It is rich in Vitamin C and contains polyphenols with antioxidant activity.

Tuvunu does not contain caffeine like conventional tea beverages, so you can enjoy it as much as you want, anytime you want!
